First Indoor Barbeque Smoker

GE Appliance announced the pre-sale launch of Arden by FirstBuild, the first pellet barbeque smoker for indoor use.

Arden is an indoor small appliance offering the ability for anyone to cook mouthwatering barbecue from the comfort of their own kitchen.  It has a unique smoke elimination system first innovated at FirstBuild for the Monogram Smart Hearth Oven.

This system will be a game changer because it is a sleek small appliance which allows Arden to be used in any indoor setting.

Arden’s system includes:

Fresh smoke generation: generates fresh smoke from wood pellets, and circulates that fresh smoke flavor

Precise temperature control: provides consistent temperature throughout the cooking process then holds your food warm

Smoke elimination: smoke-elimination technology requires no additional filters to clean or replace.

You can feed a family or small get together without having to use an outdoor smoker. Arden can smoke up to three racks of ribs, a brisket or a pork butt at a time. It has a great smoke generation system and uses a fraction of the amount of wood pellets that an outdoor smoker uses.

André Zdanow, executive director of both FirstBuild and Small Appliances at GE Appliances was quoted, “Arden is more than a revolutionary new product; it redefines in-home cooking. Arden will both delight experienced pitmasters and make smoking food and ingredients accessible to a whole new audience.”

Arden was launched on Indiegogo on March 29, and hit its funding goal of more than $500,000 in its first 30 hours. The project is a co-creation with the FirstBuild community and leading barbecue experts. If project is successful during its crowdfunding period, Arden is expected to begin delivering to backers late summer 2023 with an anticipated MSRP of $1,099.
