Sharp Home Electronics Company of America (SHCA) wants to replicate the in-store shopping experience with new innovative online, virtual kitchen that includes interactive access to their kitchen appliances.
Sharp introduced the Virtual Kitchen Showroom that features three-dimensional renderings of their kitchen appliances and how each product as it is meant to be.
The Sharp Virtual Kitchen Showroom includes:
- Microwave Drawer™ Ovens
- Over-the-Range Microwave Ovens
- Wall Ovens
- Refrigerators
- Dishwashers
- Cooktops
- Range Hoods
Using digital provides expands online shopping capabilities and offers the ability to inspect kitchen appliances in a realistic setting. Touchscreens help consumers explore the Sharp kitchen appliances on a mobile device.
Online customers are presented with all built-in kitchen appliance categories on the left-side navigation. When selecting an appliance, the showroom will zoom in on options like Open Door and View Control Panel which includes a breakdown of each feature to learn more.

The virtual kitchen showroom is available now on shop.sharpusa.com, where you can find more information on Sharp appliances. Several retailers like G Appliances, a New Jersey-based retailer, an early adopter of the Sharp Virtual Kitchen Showroom has already started integrating the platform on their e-commerce sites.
