Now consumers can easily manage and organize household tasks through the simple convenience of smart appliances. Smart home appliances are connected and can be controlled different ways. They are Wi-Fi-enabled and connect with a smart hub or voice command system; think Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa or a smart home app.

Built in smart home appliances are offered by most major manufacturer such as LG, Samsung, Hisense, GE, Bosch and others. The smart home appliance lineup includes smart washer dryer duos, refrigerators, ovens plus more.

Connecting these appliances to a central system allows the capability to be programmed and controlled remotely or on its own.  Ideally, as part of a larger smart home, smart appliance are made to work together with other smart devices. From sensors detecting light elements, temperature, or activity, the appliance is called smart.
