Miele will present some new products with a significant level of eco-sustainability. The new tumble dryers will combines smart features offering greater user convenience and gentler fabric care. Their climate-friendly flagship model range exceeds the threshold for the current top A+++ energy efficiency rating by 10%.
The Green Performance model is characterized by maximum energy efficiency at an attractive price, but also for saving on materials. The floor module was developed from scratch and the plastic is enriched with nitrogen. This saves 30% of material – while improving stability. Their R29, a climate-friendly refrigerant R290 is used. Both the new base module and R290 are also used in almost all Miele dryer models.
DryCare 40 has added conveniences. All washable clothing is at 40°C can be dried without any worry, even if the fabrics are not approved for machine drying. This is possible by reducing the air temperature during the drying process to such a degree that delicate fabrics are dried very gently. DryCare 40 has a series of options like cottons, minimum iron and shirts. This places the fabrics under the least possible stress. Clothing remains soft and they keep their shape better and they will last longer.
Lastly the new Hygiene Dry setting eliminates 99.99% of all bacteria thanks to longer temperature holding times.
