Samsung wants to create robotics and AI-powered solutions for homes and just unveiled new products that show the company’s vision by teasing three new AI-powered robots for the home.
JetBot 90 AI+
The JetBot 90 AI+ is slated to arrive in US the first half of 2022. Powered by Intel AI and touted as the world’s first smart robotic vacuum, the cleaner provides an amazing experience. This new AI-powered vacuum cleaner uses object recognition technology to map the most efficient route. To avoid cables and small objects there are LiDAR and 3D sensors to enable.
After the cleaning the JetBot 90 AI+ automatically returns back to its Clean Station to empty the dirt and hair. It also has a camera for monitoring the home and pet activity remotely using the SmartThings app. You can also use the app to control the vacuum cleaner remotely.
Samsung Bot Care
Samsung is working to create personal care robots; the Samsung Bot Care5 is the latest. It uses AI to recognize and respond to the behavior of a person. It will be able to act a robotic assistant/companion and will gradually learn the schedule/habits and send reminders throughout the day.
Samsung Bot Handy
Bot Handy is designed to help with household chores and uses advanced AI to recognize and pick up objects of varying sizes, shapes, and weights. This robot can recognize the material composition of various objects such as dishes and will help place them in the dishwasher safely.
