Smeg partnered with Italian architect in 1995 with Renzo Piano’s a visionary, inspiring designer and a world renowned architect to create a beautiful hob.
Smeg looked at their product archives and embraced their Italian roots with the relaunch. They are bringing back their first hob that was unveiled in Milan in a very limited edition of there are only 1,000 pieces.
The collection includes four and five burner hobs that will be offered in two widths. The two options are for those with a huge kitchen space and a dedicated island and another one for those with a small cooking station. Both of them are constructed solely from polished stainless steel and coated in a unique plasma technology preventing the hob from tarnishing.
The burner pan stand has no welding which makes it an object of Italian design.
The P705ES features five striking burners with the central burner providing a 3.5kW rapid burner.
The hob is robust and hardy, made from EverShine stainless steel across its pan stands and burners.
Smeg appliances are as aesthetically appealing as they are efficient. The brand is known for other designer collaborations, like the Smeg x Dolce & Gabbana range of small and large appliances. So it’s no surprise that the Italian appliances company is relaunching this collection some 35 years later.
